PatchQuill is a local-first macOS coding assistant. It can inspect selected project folders, answer questions, propose full-file edits, and request shell commands. File edits and shell commands require explicit user approval.
User responsibility
Users are responsible for selecting folders they are allowed to process, reviewing model responses before relying on them, reviewing every proposed edit before applying it, reviewing every command before running it, and keeping backups or version control for important work.
Local AI models can produce incorrect, incomplete, or unsafe suggestions.
Runtime and models
PatchQuill can download and run the Ollama macOS runtime and local models. Third-party runtime and model licenses or terms may apply. Users are responsible for complying with applicable model and runtime terms.
License and payment
PatchQuill v1 is intended to be sold as a one-time license. Unless stated otherwise at checkout, v1.x updates are included. Payment, taxes, invoices, refunds, and chargebacks may be handled by the selected payment provider or merchant of record.
Availability
PatchQuill may be changed, interrupted, or discontinued. Local runtime and model downloads depend on third-party availability.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PatchQuill is provided without warranty. Tryfta Digital UG (haftungsbeschränkt) is not liable for indirect damages, data loss, lost profits, or project disruption caused by use of the app.
Governing law
To the extent permitted by applicable law, these terms are governed by German law and the competent courts of Munich, Germany.
